CiSMHeDPR Announces 2-Day National Conference and Biennial General Meeting (BGM)
Theme: “Rescue the Youth, Restore the Future: A Fight Against Drug Menace”
The Civil Society on Mental Health & Drug Demand Reduction (CiSMHeDPR) is pleased to announce its 2-Day National Conference and Biennial General Meeting (BGM), scheduled to take place on 29–30 October 2026 in Abuja, Nigeria.
The conference will bring together mental health and substance-use professionals, young people, policymakers, government officials, security agencies, civil society organizations, community leaders, and development partners to discuss practical strategies for addressing drug and substance abuse in Nigeria.
Under the theme “Rescue the Youth, Restore the Future: A Fight Against Drug Menace,” the event aims to promote public awareness, strengthen collaboration, encourage evidence-informed interventions, and advance a collective response to the growing challenges associated with drug and substance abuse.
